Record-breaking participation in 2025 Employee Experience Survey

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the 2025 Employee Experience Survey – and to all of you for helping spread the word and encouraging others to share their voice.
Together, you made this effort truly meaningful.
While we didn’t quite reach our ambitious goal of 66% participation, we came very close. In fact, this year’s survey generated more employee feedback than any survey in UC Davis history – that’s no small feat.
A few response highlights:

Total surveys completed: 14,548 (+2,009 submissions over previous surveys)

1,000+ supervisors reached 100% team participation

Overall response rate: 62.2% (both campuses)

Davis campus staff: 66% (+2% from 2022)

UC Davis Health employees: 64% (+10% from 2023)

UC Davis Health providers: 41% (first year surveyed separately)
