Reminder: Complete Mandatory Proper Waste Disposal Training by March 31
At UC Davis Health, maintaining safety, sustainability, and compliance is a top priority.
To reinforce proper waste disposal practices and prevent risks to public health, the environment, and workplace safety, all employees are required to complete the Proper Waste Disposal training.

- How to Access: An email was distributed from hs-safety@uc-davis.edu on Dec.18 with a link to the training. Additionally, the training can be accessed by visiting the UC Learning Center.
Why this matters:
Improper disposal of medical waste, such as biohazardous materials, sharps, or protected health information (PHI), can result in serious health, environmental, and legal risks. Adhering to waste management guidelines ensures that UC Davis Health continues to set the standard for safety and sustainability.
