Specialty Pharmacy earns URAC Rare Disease Pharmacy Center of Excellence Certification

Patients living with rare diseases often face complex treatment journeys that require coordinated care, specialized expertise, and strong support systems. Supporting these patients and their families is central to the mission of UC Davis Health Specialty Pharmacy.

UC Davis Health Specialty Pharmacy has earned the Rare Disease Pharmacy Center of Excellence certification from the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC).

The recognition was awarded as part of the specialty pharmacy reaccreditation, marking the organization’s fourth successful URAC survey and first Rare Disease Pharmacy Center of Excellence certification.

Only a select group of specialty pharmacies nationwide hold this distinction, and UC Davis Health Specialty Pharmacy is honored to be among them.
