Staff Assembly: Breakfast with the Chancellor, Town Hall

The Staff Assembly at UC Davis Health on Oct. 22 will host its“Breakfast with the Chancellor,”a quarterly session with Chancellor Gary May aimed at fostering collaboration and understanding between leadership and staff.
Up to 15 staff members are typically chosen to participate in each Breakfast with the Chancellor event. Participants will typically receive their invitations seven business days before the event. Staff Assembly will work closely with invitees to ensure their schedule allows them to attend.
On Oct. 22, theCouncil of UC Staff Assemblies(CUCSA) is hosting a UC-systemwide Town Hall from 11 a.m. to noon. The goal of this town hall is to connect with staff across the UC system, share important updates, and listen to their feedback. CUCSA is an organization made up of policy-covered staff members from across the UC system.
This virtual event will feature a presentation from the Benefits Programs and Strategy Team in Systemwide Human Resources, who will provide an overview of the 2026 Open Enrollment and share updates on important changes to this year’s benefits offerings. This session is an opportunity to hear directly from UC’s benefits experts and get your questions answered ahead of the Open Enrollment period.
While CUCSA works on a number of initiatives, the primary deliverables come from internal workgroups. Each year, CUCSA delegates are assigned to workgroups, each of which is charged with researching a topical area and delivering recommendations to UC administration. The 2025-2026 workgroups are:
