UC Davis Health earns 4 PRSA Influence Awards
The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) California Capital Chapter recognized UC Davis Health for several campaigns during its annual Influence Awards ceremony.
The event – held Oct. 16 – “recognizes standout public relations and communication campaigns, exceptional teams, and individual professionals from the greater Sacramento region,” according to PRSA’s website.
UC Davis Health’s Public Affairs and Marketing team submitted four projects: all four scored more than 90 out of 100 possible points and earned Influence Awards.
The winning categories and projects were:
- Collateral Materials/Publications: Health Magazine, Summer 2024
- Electronic/Digital: Physician e-newsletter Innovation News & Notes
- Audiovisual: Video: Restoring Speech
- Annual Report: Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing Magazine, 2024
Submissions were judged by a PRSA chapter from out of the area — the Maine chapter — to ensure objectivity.
“I’m incredibly proud of our team’s wins across multiple categories,” said Steve Telliano, assistant vice chancellor of strategic communications. “These awards are a testament to both our team’s talent and the exceptional patient-centered care we have the honor of promoting.”
