Fuller is the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Ambulatory Surgical Care at UC Davis Health. He provides strategic leadership and clinical support for surgical specialty services, with a focus on advancing access, quality and innovation in outpatient surgical care.
Fuller brings more than two decades of clinical and academic experience to his role, including leadership positions at both UC Davis Health and the VA Northern California Health Care system. He previously served as Associate Chief of Staff for Surgical Services at the VA, where he led multidisciplinary teams and championed initiatives in sleep surgery, robotic surgery, and head and neck oncology.
A clinical professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Fuller directs the Division of Sleep Surgery and has mentored numerous residents and fellows. He is a recognized educator and speaker, with contributions to national courses and symposia, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in reconstructive and oncologic surgery.
Fuller earned his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency and fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Head and Neck Society, and serves on several institutional committees focused on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
