Harris is the Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations at UC Davis Health. He provides strategic and operational leadership for primary care practices across both hospital-based and Community Physicians Group clinics, including Internal Medicine and Family Medicine at the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Clinic, Midtown Primary Care, Midtown Commons, Healthy Aging Clinic, Integrative Medicine, Convenient Care and multiple regional sites. He also oversees the Gender Affirming Care Clinic, Integrative Behavioral Health program and Licensed Clinical Social Workers integrated within primary care.
Harris collaborates closely with practice managers, medical directors, and key department leaders to improve clinic efficiency, patients' experience, and access to care. He plays a key role in strategic planning, program development and operational alignment across diverse service lines.
Since joining UC Davis Health in 2015, Harris has held progressive leadership roles, including practice manager for Internal Medicine and Specialty Clinics and director of Ambulatory Operations with oversight over academic primary care, audiology and behavioral health services. He led the development of the Interventional Psychiatry service line and the launch of transcranial magnetic stimulation.
He holds a Master of Health Administration with a concentration in Health Finance and Policy from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Sociology with honors from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He is a certified facilitator for UC Davis Health’s “See Me as a Person” series and is passionate about advancing relationship-based care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, competing in bowling, and performing as an accomplished cellist around the world.
