Interim Executive Director, Ambulatory Operations
Kimberlee Sierra, M.S., is the Interim Executive Director of Ambulatory Operations for UC Davis Health. She oversees strategic planning and operational program management across multiple specialty clinics and leads her teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
Sierra supports the operations for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Surgery-Cypress Clinic, Plastic Surgery, Vascular, Advanced Wound Care, Spine Center, Sports Medicine, Edwards Family Athletic Center, Point West Clinic and Urology, while also supporting the 48X and Folsom Medical Care Clinic initiatives.
With more than 21 years of experience in the medical field, including 15 years at UC Davis Health and over 18 years in leadership roles, Sierra has played a key role in surgical service line expansions, pilot programs and process improvement initiatives that advance patient care and operational excellence.
Sierra earned a Master of Science in Administration from California State University, Bakersfield, and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento. Outside of work, she is involved in community athletics and was recognized as a game sponsor for the 2023 Aggies football homecoming game.
