Brenda Betts is the assistant vice chancellor for health sciences development and alumni relations at UC Davis Health where she is responsible for all fundraising and alumni relations activities, primarily for UC Davis School of Medicine.
She joined UC Davis Health in 2018 with 27 years of development and alumni relations experience. Before joining UC Davis, Betts was the assistant vice chancellor for medical alumni and development programs at Washington University in St. Louis; the associate dean for development for the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois; and the director of development for the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University.
Betts is originally from Michigan and has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in public relations from Michigan State University.
