Tanya Mullen
Executive Director, Ambulatory Operations
Tanya Mullen is the executive director of ambulatory operations at UC Davis Health. She supervises day-to-day clinic operations, systems, policy development and implementation, and fiscal performance across the system’s specialty clinics. Specialties include cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary medicine, infectious diseases, allergy, rheumatology, nephrology, dermatology, neurology, Mind Institute, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, the fetal care treatment center, and prenatal diagnosis centers.
Mullen's ability to analyze complex clinical situations, identify opportunities for improvement, and devise comprehensive solutions has positioned her as a trusted advisor and strategic thinker within the UC Davis Health system. She helps ensure each specialty clinic operates consistently across all sites of service by promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Prior to her role as executive director of ambulatory operations, she managed the UC Davis Health Roseville clinic and moved all operations to a new expanded clinic location in 2021. She also served as administrative director at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. For 14 years prior to joining UC Davis Health, she was director of clinic operations and development for Rideout Health in Yuba City.
She holds a Master's of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
