Chong Porter

Chong Porter is responsible for enhancing the culture of philanthropy at UC Davis Health and expanding the base of donor support through alumni relations and community engagement.

Porter serves as the primary fundraising officer for UC Davis Health. She oversees management, planning and budgeting of the health system's philanthropic enterprise, including fundraising efforts relating to student scholarships and financial aid, endowed chairs and professorships, research, patient care and the physical campus environment.

She joined the health system in 2012 with more than 20 years of development experience, most recently as assistant vice president for constituent development and development strategy at the Arizona State University Foundation. She previously served as assistant dean for development for the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU, and as development director for the University of Washington School of Nursing.

Porter received her Bachelor's degree in art from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, and her Master's degree in education from the University of Washington in Seattle.
