I take an individualized and comprehensive approach to neuropsychological assessments to help patients understand their cognitive strengths and weaknesses. I aim to help patients understand how their cognitive strengths and weaknesses manifest in daily life, and if necessary, offer recommendations for how to compensate for any cognitive challenges.
Dr. Young is a neuropsychologist offering cognitive assessments for adults with concerns about their memory and other thinking abilities. She has experience in a wide variety of neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease and epilepsy, and has a special interest in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
Dr. Young's research aims to improve the detection and monitoring of early cognitive decline due to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Her research relates novel assessments of cognition and functioning, on the one hand, to neuroimaging-based biomarker information, on the other.
