ADEPT is a 10-lesson, online learning program. It trains parents and caregivers how to teach life skills to their children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
One of only 14 such centers in the country, this NIH-funded research hub brings together researchers of different disciplines to spark new discoveries about autism, fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Becoming a volunteer means joining a caring team of professionals who are dedicated to helping individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The volunteer team at the MIND Institute includes people from different backgrounds, including high school and college students, retirees, and working professionals.
The MIND Institute is committed to expanding diversity, equity and inclusion in all areas of research, education and patient care, an ongoing process that has no endpoint. Programs dedicated to this effort include RISE-UP, for undergraduates pursuing careers that serve underrepresented groups, and PAIR, a network of partnerships with self-advocates, families and community organizations to make research and care more inclusive and accessible. The MIND Institute strives to provide care that is respectful and inclusive of all cultures, and is focused on making diversity, equity and inclusion central to all work.
