Clinical Psychology Training Program | UC Davis MIND Institute

About Our Program

The MIND Institute is committed to training the next generation of child and adolescent psychologists. Grounded in clinical practices that are supported by research, our Clinical Psychology Training Program prepares trainees to care for children, teens, and young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and complex behavioral health needs, with a strong focus on serving under-resourced communities. Trainees gain hands-on, supervised experience in diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy, and consultation.  Working alongside expert faculty, trainees serve a diverse patient population spanning infancy through young adulthood. Through tailored supervision, specialized coursework, and a step-by-step path toward independent practice, our program helps trainees build the skills to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.
