Cytopathology: Clinical Services - Request Fine Needle Aspiration
Scheduling for a pathologist to perform the FNA
Out-patients: Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) may be performed at the Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy Clinic located on the 2nd floor of UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. The clinic hours are Monday morning from 9-12. Appointments for existing Comprehensive Cancer Center patients are scheduled by a patient services representative after an order is placed by the patient’s physician. Patients new to the cancer center are scheduled by the new patient referral service after a referral is placed. Patients can call the Comprehensive Cancer Center at 916-734-5959 to schedule a biopsy.

Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) biopsy services: ROSE consultation services are available Monday-Friday, from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. To request ROSE services during regular operating hours, please call 916-734-3031.
