Facilities and Rotations

Fellows benefit from a state-of-the-art UC Davis Medical Center and Children’s Hospital operating in the academic environment of a nationally recognized university. Most of the clinical rotations will take place at the main UC Davis Health campus. Clinical rotations include all major cardiac sub-specialties, including echocardiography and advanced imaging, cardiac catheterization, cardiac critical care, cardiac surgery, inpatient and outpatient cardiology, as well as electrophysiology and exercise testing.

Curriculum and Research

Preparing Future Pediatric Cardiology Physicians

While clinical rotations form an essential part of the learning experience for pediatric cardiology fellows, supplemental instruction in the core pediatric cardiology topics are provided in conferences and courses.

Additionally, fellows develop a scholarly activity in a variety of scholarly realms including clinical research, translational research, education, and quality improvement.
