As a pharmacist I strive to serve as a patient and family advocate to ensure that each patient has access to safe, effective, affordable and manageable medication therapy.
As a team member I strive to work as a collaborative and reliable team me member to provide patient and family-centered care.
As a teacher I recognize that pharmacy practice is continually evolving, I focus on the ensuring that developing practitioners gain the necessary tools to navigate this changing landscape. I place emphasis on empowering the learner to develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills to function as an independent practitioner by ensuring solid understanding of pathophysiology, drug properties and how one impacts the other to apply them across a variety of situations. As new data is continually emerging literature review and evaluation is encouraged and expected along with critique of the available literature. I firmly believe that understanding the why is just as important as coming up with a correct solution.
