Bio:
Dr. Brittany Newton attended pharmacy school at the University of California San Diego.  During her time at UCSD, she was highly active in student government serving as class president followed by student body president.  Additionally, she was the recipient of the local Society of Health System Pharmacist Clinical Skills Competition. She went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency at UCDH.

Following completion of her Emergency Medicine PGY2 she accepted a position with UCDH in the Emergency Department.  She currently serves in a volunteer faculty position as an assistant professor with the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy precepting students during their APPE rotations.  She enjoys the dynamic field of emergency medicine and is excited to share her love of EM with learners on rotation including students and residents.
