Practice Philosophy:
As a pediatric pharmacist in specialty pharmacy, I strive to create an environment where my patients can be comfortable and know they are receiving the best care possible. Many parents may become intimidated by the medications that will be started, especially in our younger patient populations receiving self-injectables. My goal for this vulnerable population is to not only provide medication education, but to also instill engagement and confidence throughout the treatment process. Additionally, many adolescent patients reaching adult age will be transferred to adult care, a critical transition of care that is often overlooked. My goal for the adolescent population is to provide both education and reinforcement to prepare them for independence as they transition out of the pediatric clinics.

Rotations Precepted:
Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (APPE)
