Philosophy of Care
Dr. Rothschild’s philosophy of care is to educate her patients so they fully understand the breadth of their diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Rothschild believes in including patients in the decision making process with detailed discussions about the expectations they seek.
Dr. Rothschild specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urinary incontinence. Her expertise includes lower urinary tract reconstruction, including neuromodulation and botox for over active bladder and urethral strictures, as well as complex genitourinary reconstructions including urinary fistula repair and transvaginal mesh complications.
Dr. Rothschild is skilled in multichannel urodynamic evaluation. She is also skilled in prosthetic surgery, specializing in artificial urinary sphincters and penile prosthetics.
Currently Dr. Rothschild is conducting research in outcomes in artificial urinary sphincters as well as sacral neuromodulation.
