I strive to provide compassionate and professional care in the inpatient setting, along with other members of the healthcare team, partnering with the patient and their family.
Dr. Maynard's clinical interests are in quality improvement and safety of healthcare systems.
My research interests parallel my clinical and operational improvement interests; improving the quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care with research like rigor and innovative methods. I have extensive experience in DVT prevention, inpatient glycemic control, prevention of adverse drug events, and transitions of care.
