Clinical Interests

Dr. Schaberg is an anatomic pathologist with specialized training in surgical pathology of the gastrointestinal tract. He also practices general cytopathology and performs ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirations. He has a special clinical interest in inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, particularly ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Schaberg's research focuses on gastrointestinal surgical pathology and cytopathology, particularly of the liver and pancreas. He also has strong interests in inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, and education.
