Dr. Walker has two primary research interests. She explores mechanisms that translate exposures experienced by women before and during pregnancy into influences that shape the developing brain. In addition, she leads a team that is developing an innovative non-hormonal contraceptive method.
Her center and program affiliations include: MIND Institute, Perinatal Origins of Disparities Center, and the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Center.
