The 3rd annual Nursing Science and Professional Governance Conference was held on May 12, 2021 during Nurses Week. This event showcased the evidenced-based practice, quality improvement, and research accomplished by nurses and interdisciplinary teams at UC Davis Health. Our schedule featured a variety of presentations and activities, including, a Keynote Address, 6 Podium Presentations, 12 Ignite! Sessions, over 30 Poster Presentations and Lunch and Learn Workshops.

The conference also represented the official launch of UC Davis Health’s new evidence-based practice Model. After 17 years of evidence implementation using the Iowa Model, the Evidence-based Practice and Research Council recommended adoption of the system and process-based model, Advancing Research through Close Collaboration (ARCC) at UC Davis Health. Thank you to all who completed our 5-min pre-conference survey.
