Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Model
Evidence implementation at UC Davis Health follows the Advancing Research and Clinical Practice through Close Collaboration (ARCC) Model (Melnyk, B. & Fineout-Overholt, E, 2002). The ARCC Model is an organizational change model that provides a roadmap for navigating and sustaining EBP by integrating key components such as infrastructure, culture and organizational systems (Figure 1). The model also outlines a step-by-step process to support clinicians in conducting EBP (Figure 2). The attached flyer presents full details regarding the ARCC Model and Figures.
