Hemodynamic Monitoring: Principles and Patient Management

This course is designed to introduce the principles of hemodynamics, including indications for monitoring, drug therapy and normal hemodynamic values. This course discusses abnormal hemodynamic values in relation to specific disease processes and associated pharmacological support, utilizing case scenarios to enhance critical thinking.

This class is only open to UC Davis Health employees and restricted to critical care nurses working in MSICU Blue, MSICU Gold, MICU, SICU, CTICU, NSICU, Burn ICU, PICU, PACU, PCR ICU RNs and ED RNs who care for ICU patients.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 7.67 contact hours.

Attendees must attend both days to receive C.E. credit. Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
