Course description

This course provides a foundation for the assessment and nursing management of infants with infectious processes. Review of laboratory tests and findings will be reviewed in addition to review of the hematopoietic system. Hyperbilirubinemia, polycythemia, disseminated intravascular coagulation and Rh/ABO incompatibilities will be presented. Specific bacterial, viral and fungal infections will be reviewed.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 4.16 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Parking
