NICU Foundations: Metabolic and Endocrine
This course provides a foundation for genetic, metabolic and endocrine conditions in the neonatal population. Metabolic screening will be reviewed in additional to specific conditions: glucose abnormalities, infant of a diabetic mother, adrenal and thyroid disorders. This course will also review inheritance patterns and chromosomal conditions including Trisomy, DiGeorge and Turners Syndrome.
