OB in the ICU...What Do I Do? 

Pregnancy

This class will discuss caring for an OB patient admitted to ICU. This class will discuss typical pregnancy and postpartum anatomy/pathophysiological changes, signs of OB related complications, and differentiate roles between ICU and OB nurses. Skills stations will cover breast pump, fundal massage, and frequently used medications. High-fidelity simulation is included to practice care delivery in emergent situations.

This course is exclusively open to UC Davis Health RNs working in MSICU Blue, MSICU Gold, MICU, SICU, CTICU, NSICU, Burn ICU, PCR ICU RNs and PACU.

Continuing Education Contact Hours
