Oncology Series: Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors - From Mechanism to Management

This symposium will provide a comprehensive and clinically focused overview of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies and their role in oncology. Topics will include a review of checkpoint inhibitor agents, mechanism of action, and their clinical indications. Emphasis will be placed on the recognition, grading, and management of immune-related adverse events, including administration and monitoring considerations specific to this drug class. The education session will conclude with a focus on patient education and care coordination strategies that support optimal outcomes for patients receiving checkpoint inhibitor therapies.
