PCS DEI Cultural Excellence Grand Rounds - Construyendo Puentes Building Bridges: Improving Healthcare Outcomes for Hispanic Patients

PCS DEI: Cultural Excellence Grand Rounds is a quarterly educational opportunity for UC Davis nurses to promote excellence in nursing through scholarly presentations. Nursing grand rounds provide staff nurses a forum to share clinical expertise and the best of nursing practice system-wide.

Learn from experienced clinicians as they discuss diabetes management and wound care through a culturally grounded lens. The session will explore how language, family dynamics, cultural beliefs, and trust influence patient outcomes, followed by an interactive panel discussing care across diverse practice settings. Participants will leave with practical strategies that can be implemented immediately in clinical practice.
