In-Person Prepared Childbirth Classes
Join Us for an In-Depth Labor and Delivery Class!
Prepare for your upcoming journey with our comprehensive Prepared Childbirth classes, designed to help you feel informed, confident, and ready for labor and delivery. Choose the format that best fits your schedule- a full-day weekend class or a three-session weekday evening series. Both options cover the same in-depth curriculum.
Topics include stages of labor, comfort techniques, labor positioning, pain management options, the delivery process, and hands-on practice to help support a positive birth experience. Partners and support persons are encouraged to attend and do not need to register separately. One registration covers the expectant parent and one support person.

What to Bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and pillows for hands-on practice. You may also wish to bring water and snacks. Participants attending the full-day class should also bring a lunch.
Optional Birthing Tour: Participants are invited to join the guided tour of the UC Davis Health Labor and Delivery unit. Tours are offered at the conclusion of the full-day class and immediately before the third session of the Prepared Childbirth Series.

Registrations are approved after your deposit is received. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class.
Cancellation must be requested five days prior to the class date to receive a deposit refund.
