Geriatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship
Geriatric Emergency Medicine is focused on improving the care of older adults in the emergency medicine. There is a strong emphasis on improving the efficiency of clinical practice, as we develop workflows that are better for our older patients and for the health care workers who care for them.
This fellowship provides clinically excellent training in geriatric emergency medicine, with additional experience in education, research, operations and policy. The curriculum includes structured rotations in outpatient geriatric clinics, UC Davis Health affiliated skilled nursing facilities, palliative care and hospice medicine, and with the Family Caregiving Institute.
