Sneak peek: Physical therapist Martina Thomas shares Healing HeARTS photograph

(SACRAMENTO)

There is still time to submit your artwork for the second annual Healing HeARTS employee art gallery! Submissions are due October 13.

As a sneak peek of what's to come, UC Davis Health physical therapist Martina Thomas shares a glimpse of her photography submission, a touching symbol of trust at the Vasco de Gama Bridge in Lisbon, Portugal.

She explains why Healing HeARTS is so meaningful to her. "I'm super excited about being part of this program because it showcases the talents of our whole community at UC Davis...[Even] though we're health care workers, it shows the humanity in us, that we can be much more together as a group."

This year's gallery theme reflects UC Davis Health's values of kindness, trust, and inclusion. Choose one or all three, create your piece, and share how these values inspired your creation. Selected art will be displayed in a rotating gallery at the Sacramento campus. Learn more and submit your art!
