2025 Group Mentoring Program applications are now open

(SACRAMENTO)

In recent years, employees across UC Davis and UC Davis Health have voiced a clear desire for more professional development opportunities — and we’ve listened.

In response to feedback from the CommUNITY Feedback Survey and the Davis campus Staff Engagement Survey, the Group Mentoring Program (GMP) has more than doubled in size since 2022. What started as a small initiative has grown into a highly valued experience that brings together mentors and mentees across departments, roles, and campuses.

Now, applications are open until April 30 for the 2025 program, which will take place June through November.

Apply by April 30

This professional development experience pairs mentors with small groups of mentees from across UC Davis and UC Davis Health. The 2025 program includes in-person and virtual sessions and a combination of large and small group mentoring activities.

This year’s program will encourage participants to network, learn more about the organization, explore their Gallup-Clifton Strengths, and pursue professional development – be it a new role or strategies for growth and greater fulfillment in your current role.

Whether you're looking to grow professionally, give back as a mentor, or connect with new colleagues, this is your chance.

Your feedback drives programs like this

The GMP is just one example of how employee input helps shape real programs that make a difference. We’re continuing that tradition with the upcoming Employee Experience Survey, launching May 5.

Just like in years past, this short, anonymous survey helps us understand what’s working, where we can improve, and how to make UC Davis a better place to work for everyone.

Thank you for sharing your voice. We’re listening, and we’re acting.
