UC Davis Health collects valuable input from employees through the Employee Feedback Survey (formerly the CommUNITY Feedback Survey) and other parts of our ongoing listening efforts, such as leadership listening tours, I-DARE surveys, and town halls. As a leading academic institution, UC Davis Health analyzes this feedback to identify strengths and areas for improvement, which then inform data-driven action plans.
The items below are highlights among actions taken so far and serve as a reminder that when you share honest feedback, we listen, learn, and take actions that improve the workplace and advance our missions—together.
In response to employee feedback, new hires are now eligible for a complimentary 'Employee Welcome Permit,' valid for up to 7 calendar days from their first work day.
Biweekly cultural competence workshops, inclusive research practices, and community engagement efforts are just a few examples of how I-DARE participants are actively working towards a more inclusive and equitable future.
Over the last three months of 2023, executive leaders visited a variety of teams across UC Davis Health with a focus on listening to employee experiences.
