Today, March 19, is Certified Nurses Day, an annual event celebrating nurses who have earned and maintained the highest credentials in their specialty.
In honor of the event, we want to recognize some of our certified nurse heroes and why they chose to earn certification, and what it means to them.

I love taking care of children with diabetes and their families on their journey from initial fear and sadness at the time of diagnosis to acceptance and understanding of living with this chronic disease. My goal every day is to make someone laugh or smile and realize that we are here to help them on their life journey of living with diabetes.”
