Chief of Staff Awards Announced

At the last Active Medical Staff meeting, Gregory Jurkovich, M.D., Chief of Staff – Medical Staff, presented a select few UC Davis Health employees with the Chief of Staff Awards.  

The awards recognize individuals for their exemplary service. Recipients of this year’s awards who go above and beyond while always keeping our patients at the center of everything they do. “We want to acknowledge and celebrate particularly outstanding service to our patients and to our medical staff,” said Jurkovich.  “The awards recognize these employees for their exemplary professionalism, commitment, and dedication to our patients, the medical staff, and all UC Davis Health employees.”

The Chief of Staff Awards were presented to the following individuals:

Debrorah Plante, M.D., and Berit Bagley, R.N.
In recognition of their expertise and leadership in the glycemic control quality improvement collaborative, improving hospitalization and readmission rates.  

Vanessa McElroy, R.N., and Kenneth Kelley, M.D.
In recognition of their visionary leadership in the Population Health and Transition of Care initiatives, providing compassionate, collaborative, and equitable care across the continuum.

Aimee Moulin, M.D., and Tommie Trevino
In recognition of your leadership with the SUN, SUIT and Bridge program, looking at addiction as a treatable disease and providing 24/7 access to care for those with substance use disorders.
