Construction notification: PICU boom and surgical light replacements

Starting Monday, Feb. 23, and continuing for roughly two years, construction will begin in the PICU on floor 10 of Davis Tower.

The project consists of:

• replacing 24 existing overhead equipment booms

• installing 12 surgical lights in tandem with boom arms

• installing wall-mounted exam lights in the remaining 12 locations

• installing new wall-mounted diagnostic boards in all 24 rooms

It will be completed in 12 phases, working in two rooms per phase. The unit will remain occupied and in operation during construction.
