Hospital entrance near MRI trailers returns to designated patient care use on Oct. 30
Access permissions for the rear hospital door leading to the MRI trailers (Door 011-1418C) will change on Oct. 30. After this date, only radiology personnel and authorized first responders will be permitted to use this entrance.
This change is intended to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff and visitors. Due to its location and proximity to patient care areas, this entrance was designed primarily to support patient transport to and from the MRI trailers and emergency response needs. Directing routine employee traffic through designated entrances helps protect the security of our hospital while keeping this pathway available for safe, timely patient care.
Current route
The diagram below shows the current route to the MRI trailers through Door 011-1418C. Beginning Oct. 30, this route will be restricted to radiology personnel and authorized first responders.
Future route for staff
Staff who currently use this entrance will need to use a designated employee entrance instead. The nearest option is the North Addition Office Building main entrance, which provides access to the Davis Tower hallway.
Please refer to the diagram below for the updated route.
Effective date
The access change will take effect on Oct. 30.
