“Her commitment to patient care was especially evident when she remained at the dermatology site from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. last month, always willing to support our Mohs team at community sites, ensuring that a patient is properly treated, bandaged, and advocate for our patients to be cancer-free. She worked tirelessly alongside the physician and resident, never once wavering in her dedication to both her team and the patient’s well-being.
“Beyond her exceptional patient care, Marilu is also a passionate preceptor. She takes the time to teach and support other LVNs, sharing her knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Her guidance not only strengthens the team but also fosters a culture of continuous learning and excellence in patient care.
