Sacramento Pride 2026: Planning begins — Join the team
UC Davis Health is excited to share that planning for participation in the 2026 Sacramento Pride March and Festival is officially underway.

Each year, UC Davis Health proudly shows up at Sacramento Pride to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, stand with our allies, and demonstrate our commitment to belonging, equity and inclusion. From marching together to hosting an engaging festival booth, Pride remains one of the most visible and joyful ways we live out our Principles of Community.
We’re now inviting employees to help shape this year’s experience by joining the Sacramento Pride Planning Committee.
Planning committee volunteers will help:
- Develop UC Davis Health’s Pride presence and theme
- Plan activities and engagement for the festival booth
- Coordinate march logistics
- Ensure our participation reflects the diversity and spirit of our community
Whether you’re experienced in event planning or simply eager to contribute your ideas and energy, all are welcome.
Are you interested in volunteering?
Email hedi@health.ucdavis.edu to join the Sacramento Pride Planning Committee. Participation is voluntary, and release/volunteer time needs to be coordinated with your supervisor.
Let’s come together to create a Pride experience that reflects who we are — a community rooted in respect, connection and the celebration of all identities.
More details about Pride activities and volunteer opportunities will be shared in the coming months. Stay tuned!
