UC Davis Health to celebrate Interfaith Harmony Week with cultural gathering
UC Davis Health employees are invited to take part in Interfaith Harmony Week on Friday, Feb. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the North Addition Office Building, Room 1001.
Hosted by the Interfaith and Intercultural Employee Resource Group (IFIC), the event will bring colleagues together to explore how diverse spiritual, cultural, and philosophical traditions support healing, resilience, and compassionate care across the health system.
The gathering will feature a Danza Azteca performance by White Hawk of Sacramento. Each danza serves as a symbolic form of connection and communication within the community.
Employees are encouraged to participate by bringing a dish that holds cultural or personal significance. Additional culturally diverse foods will be provided. The event is open to all UC Davis Health employees, and participation is voluntary. Release time may be coordinated with supervisors.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP online.
