SMS Terms of Service

  1. UC Davis Health and its hosted partners will use 1-way and 2-way SMS messaging to keep you updated related to your visits, your online account, one-time passcodes, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management.
  2. You can cancel this SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the short code (47232). After you send the SMS message STOP, UC Davis Health will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from UC Davis Health and its hosted partners. If you want to join the SMS service again, sign up as you did before, and UC Davis Health or its hosted partners will send SMS messages to you again.
  3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can text or reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by calling 800-2-UCDAVIS (800-282-3284).
  4. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from UC Davis Health and our hosted partners, or to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on your needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  6. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please view the UC Davis Health Privacy Policy. If you have questions about the privacy policy contact us at 800-2-UCDAVIS (800-282-3284).
