Philosophy of Care

Dr. Galante understands the pain and turmoil of an injury. Dr Galante approaches each patient as an individual and attempts to provide clear explanations of the injuries and course of treatment as possible.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Galante's clinical interests focus on the care of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery patients; ensuring a systematic delivery of care for injured patients. He has special clinical interest and expertise in hemorrhage control,damage control resuscitation, and thoracic trauma.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Galante's research interests include thoracic trauma, military trauma surgery, specifically military and civilian partnerships, Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta (REBOA), and surgical education.
