Philosophy of Care

As an Internal Medicine physician my goal is to help patients maintain health, prevent disease and prevent disease complications. I believe in working together with my patients to achieve individualized health goals and coordinate overall health care as well as help my patients make lifestyle changes in order to achieve optimal health.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Knoepfler's clinical interests are in hypertension, diabetes and women's health, particularly as it pertains to risk-factor reduction for prevention of cardiovascular disease in women. In her administrative roles as Associate Medical Director for UC Davis Health Community physicians and Clinic Medical Director for Integrative Health, Dr Knoepfler is also interested in the planning, development, management and growth of a wide range of primary care and preventative care services as well as the integration of complementary medical services within the spectrum of all medical services offered at UC Davis Health.
