Philosophy of Care

I am interested in caring for the whole patient--mind, body, and spirit. I will work with you and listen to you to ensure collaboration for comprehensive care, and that we develop a relationship. I am particularly interested in preventive care, to keep you well, but I am also interested in treating chronic medical conditions with you, as one-size-fits-all care is not the best possible care.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Swensson is an experienced physician in family medicine interested in inclusive care and establishing relationships with her patients. She is particularly interested in preventive care, women's health, and chronic disease management.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Swensson's focus is getting to know her patients, preventive care, and chronic disease states such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and women's health.
