Professor Hoch researches value in health care, and has contributed more than 250 peer-reviewed articles to the scientific literature. As an award-winning teacher, Professor Hoch has taught Health Economics and Economic Evaluation classes throughout the world, giving over 250 invited presentations in 15 countries. Professor Hoch draws on a rich, international experience developing and leading applied health economics research groups and pursuing research making health economics more useful to decision makers. Professor Hoch continues to develop research interests related to health economics, health services research and health policy in cancer, mental health, and other health issues affecting vulnerable populations.
