Family Time at the MIND

About Our Events

The MIND Institute's Child Life Program has organized fun events that are free and open to everyone in the community. These events are designed for the whole family to enjoy and include activities that are suitable for kids with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Some of the events we've had in the past include movie nights, family game nights, trunk-or-treat events, and a family resource fair where you can find helpful resources.

We will notify families when registration opens on this page. You can find the registration information posted about 1 to 2 months before the event takes place. This way, you'll have plenty of time to secure your spot and join in on the fun!

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay informed about upcoming events.

    Fall Festival Event

    Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024

The Child Life Program hosts a free Truck-or-Treat night. You can dress up in your favorite costumes and go trick-or-treating in our parking lot. We have some terrific fall and Halloween-themed decorated cars from the NorCal Challengers, as well as our own staff, faculty, and trainees who also decorate their cars. There are a lot of exciting activities going on during the event and it's a fantastic way to enjoy the fall season.
