Practice Philosophy:
I believe in the “see one, do one, teach one” philosophy. A teacher should model how to best practice pharmacy in their area for the learner a few times. The learner should then be allowed to practice as the pharmacist for the team, what was modeled for them to the extent the learner’s license allows. Finally, the learner should be able to teach another learner in the same aforementioned fashion to show they have competence and an element of proficiency in the area.
In addition, I “teach in the moment” as I find this to be a very effective method for a learner to retain and apply the material presented.
